Summer Bishil has been an American actor since the year 2015. She's known as Margo Hanon, a character from the Syfy fantasy fiction series The Magicians. Summer Bishil gained fame because of her performance on Towelhead in the role of Jasira Marroun, an American-Lebanese girl aged 13 who is thrown into turmoil by the U.S. military's invasion of Iraq. She was subsequently chosen as one of the 10 actors in Variety's list of Actors to Watch in 2007. Crossing Over, a 2009 crime thriller film in which she portrayed another strong female character named Taslima Jangir was selected for one of the Independent Spirit Award nominee for the Best Female lead category.
